Web Development Team Lead

Position Summary:

The web development team lead’ job is to design and implement the technical components of our portfolio of technology related websites. This requires exceptional knowledge of web and mobile development processes and solutions. We are seeking candidates with solid development experience in more than one language specialty, more than one database technology and a history of lead contributions to mid to large size web publishing projects. The ideal candidate will currently be a Web Developer Team Lead or Web Development Manager who wants to take their exceptional technical skills to the next career level based on demonstrated increasing levels of responsibility and a pattern of successful project execution. This person will have excellent communication and technical skills to interact with senior management and drive the web development and web designing team as per company’s vision.
Requirements AND Must Have’s:
· Prior entrepreneurial experience handling web projects from start to finish.
· Prior experience managing a web development team.
· Experience creating revenue generating web services and applications.
· 4+ years’ experience with a proven track record in designing and developing Web & CMS applications
· 1+ year’s mobile design and development experience.
· 1+ year’s SEO experience.
· Experience with and ability to lead code reviews, identifying architectural best practices and constructively enabling improvements.
· Demonstrated competency in internet development and strategic architecture/software skills, and proven execution skills.

Essential Responsibilities:
· Create and maintain an effort-driven project schedule for each project by identifying and monitoring: overall project timeline, project milestones, tasks, resources, task dependencies, and critical paths.
· Control and track project performance, time allocations, and quality by constantly evaluating project progress and conducting regular team status meetings.
· Spearhead vision from a business utilization perspective to implement web based mobile technologies.
· Proactively seeks, implements & documents application best practices to gain a deeper knowledge of corporate preferred tools.
· Lead a web development team of developers and other resources on key initiatives and communicate periodic status to senior management.
· Interact with external clients to gather requirements and communicate progress and deliverables during project lifecycle.

Technical Skills:

· Strong LAMP development skills (Linux, Apache, PHP, and MySQL). Knowledge of basic Linux shell commands, Javascript & HTML.
· Working knowledge of Macromedia Flash, Action Script, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver, Cascading style sheets development.
· Experience using code revision control tools (for e.g. SVN).
· Experience with CMS like Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc.
· Development experience with mobile devices and mobile networks.

· Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication.
· Attention to detail including strong code documentation.

* Total 1-2 years of professional web design experience.
* Mobile design experience a plus
* Portfolio of design experience, live sites and wireframe examples required. (Must have an online portfolio of past web work)

Position Summary:

ü  Search Engine Optimization Keyword Market Research on targeted markets searching habits. Create competition analysis reports, rank reports,. Use ethical “white-hat” Search Engine Optimization techniques to produce high rankings for numerous keywords in Google, Yahoo, MSN & other search engines.

ü  SEO Management Manage relationship with internal/external SEO Agencies, co-coordinating internal web marketing team by motivating and guiding them

ü  Internet Marketing Develop Company/Product Branding strategies with high success rates. Create in-house research plans, which include: Focus and Peer Groups, Online Polls and Public Awareness functions, Blog and Forum’s Posting. Manage all facets of search engine optimization campaigns including SMO.

ü  Web 2.0 Marketing Web 2.0–> other marketing methods to increase the website traffic mainly article submission, press releases, social networking and bookmaking.

Essential Responsibilities:

ü  Lead and develop full scale of SEO project plans and executions.
